How it works

Two modes, one bottle

Each bottle in the pack sprays and pours — identical mechanism to our single bottle. What the pack adds is the ability to keep two liquids apart without owning four bottles.

16oz/470ml Olive Oil Sprayer Dispenser Bottle for Cooking, 2 in 1 (Pack of 2) — Press the top — it sprays
Mode one

Press the top — it sprays

A fine, even mist from either bottle.

Press and the oil is forced through a narrow nozzle that breaks it into a soft cone. Two or three passes coats a whole sheet pan; one pass does an air-fryer basket. No separate cooking spray needed, and no aerosol propellant.

Mode two

Tilt it — it pours

A clean, steady stream from a separate spout.

Tilt without pressing and the oil leaves through the front spout, bypassing the spray nozzle entirely. Pouring can never clog the sprayer — which is the whole reason a 2-in-1 bottle works rather than being a compromise.

What it does

Everything this does, in plain English

Each bottle does everything the single does. The pack solves the other half of the problem: keeping two liquids separate without keeping four bottles.

01

Sprays a fine, even mist

Both bottles atomise into a soft cone on one press — over a salad, a tray or an air-fryer basket.

What you getFull coverage from a fraction of the oil, from whichever bottle you pick up.

02

Pours a controlled stream

Tilt either bottle and the side spout gives a clean pour for the pan, the dressing or the plate.

What you getYou are not choosing between a mister and a cruet. Both bottles are both things.

03

Controls how much comes out

A press is a measured burst; a tilt is a stoppable stream. Neither is a guess.

What you getYou use what you meant to use — the single biggest reason people switch to a sprayer.

04

Keeps two liquids apart

Black for the everyday cooking oil, green for the finishing oil, the vinegar or the soy.

What you getThe expensive cold-pressed oil never gets used for frying, and the salad never tastes of sesame.

05

Stops you wasting oil

Mist lands where you aim it instead of pooling. Twice the capacity means half the refills.

What you getLess oil bought, less oil scrubbed off trays, and fewer interruptions mid-recipe.

06

Keeps both fresh

Sealed caps and glass bodies on both, so oxygen and light stay out between uses.

What you getTwo bottles you can leave on the counter without the contents going stale.

Without it

  • Decanting everything into one bottle and using the good oil for frying
  • Tasting a bottle to work out which one it is
  • A mister for oil and a separate cruet for vinegar
  • Running out mid-recipe because the mister only holds a little
  • Pouring by eye and over-doing it

With it

  • A dedicated bottle for cooking oil and one for finishing or vinegar
  • Colour coding you can read at a glance
  • Spray and pour on both — no separate cruet
  • 940ml across the pair, so refills stop interrupting cooking
  • A measured press instead of a guess

Inside it

Why it works the way it does

Both bottles are mechanically identical to our single 16oz sprayer. Here is what happens inside each one when you press the top.

  1. 01

A dip tube reaches the base

A narrow tube runs from the head to the bottom corner, so the sprayer keeps working down to the last centimetre. Store the bottles upright so the tube stays submerged.

  2. 02

The press-top drives a piston pump

The button moves a piston that draws oil up on release and pushes it forward under pressure on the down stroke. Purely mechanical — no propellant, no batteries, nothing to replace.

  3. 03

A narrow orifice atomises the stream

Oil is forced through an opening much smaller than the tube feeding it. The pressure drop shears the stream into droplets, which is what produces a cone of mist rather than a squirt.

  4. 04

The pour spout is a separate channel

Tilting delivers a clean stream through the front spout without touching the pump, so pouring can never clog the sprayer.

  5. 05

    Two bottles, two dedicated liquids

The practical reason for a pair: cross-contamination is what ruins a good finishing oil. Keeping vinegar or toasted sesame permanently in one bottle means the other never picks up the flavour.

16oz/470ml Olive Oil Sprayer Dispenser Bottle for Cooking, 2 in 1 (Pack of 2) — in use

Worth doing on day one: decide what lives in each bottle and stick to it. The colour coding only helps if it means something.

Instructions

How to use it

Step by step, from unboxing to the first week of ownership.

  1. 01

    Assign each bottle a job

Black for the everyday cooking oil you reach for without thinking; green for the finishing oil, the vinegar or the soy. Consistency is the entire benefit of owning two.

  2. 02

Fill to an inch below the thread

Through the wide mouth, no funnel. Leave the headspace — the pump works against that air gap, and an over-filled bottle weeps from the spout.

  3. 03

    Prime each bottle separately

Upright over the sink, three to five presses until mist appears. Do this on first use and after any deep clean.

  4. 04

    Mist from 15–20cm (6–8 inches)

Short bursts with your hand moving. Two or three passes covers a sheet pan; one pass does an air-fryer basket.

  5. 05

    Tilt to pour

No press needed. The spout gives a controlled stream for deglazing, dressing or measuring.

  6. 06

    Wipe, cap, stand upright

Both bottles, after each session. Away from the hob and out of direct sun.

Use cases

Where it earns its place

Oil and vinegar side by side

The classic pairing: olive oil in one, balsamic or red wine vinegar in the other, both misting evenly over a salad.

Cooking oil and finishing oil

Neutral oil for the pan, extra-virgin or toasted sesame for the plate — kept properly separate.

Air fryer and oven

One bottle permanently by the air fryer, one by the hob, so neither trip is a hunt.

Soy and sesame for stir-frying

Both mist beautifully and distribute far more evenly over rice or noodles than a pour.

Two cooks, two preferences

Households where one person cooks with olive and the other with avocado stop competing for the bottle.

Gifting and kitchen sets

Boxed together with caps fitted — a housewarming or registry piece with a daily use case.

Meal prep

Coat a week of trays quickly without stopping to refill a single small mister.

Grill station

Keep one outside for the BBQ and one in the kitchen, rather than carrying the same bottle back and forth.

Care

Looking after it

Five minutes of maintenance is the difference between a season and years.

Weekly: wipe both heads

Ten seconds each with a paper towel stops the tacky film that collects on any oil bottle.

Monthly: flush each pump

Half-fill with warm water and a drop of washing-up liquid, refit the head, pump fifteen to twenty times over the sink until it sprays clear, then repeat with plain water. Do both bottles.

Always deep clean before swapping liquids

Especially between vinegar and oil. Wash the body with hot soapy water, flush the pump, and dry everything fully upside down before refilling.

What not to do

No dishwasher for the pump heads, and do not store the bottles on their side or next to the hob.

Storage

Upright and capped, out of direct sunlight. Both bottles fit standard cabinet door racks.

Troubleshooting

One bottle sprays better than the other
Almost always sediment in the weaker one. Flush that head with warm soapy water; they will match again.
It spits instead of misting
Prime it with three to five presses, and check the oil is at room temperature rather than fridge-cold.
Vinegar flavour carried into the oil bottle
The bottles were swapped without a deep clean. Wash with hot soapy water, flush the pump, dry fully, and from then on keep each bottle to one liquid.
Oil weeps from the spout when I press
Over-filled. Leave about an inch of headspace under the thread.
The green bottle looks different to the photos
The body is clear; the green is in the head and handle hardware. Lighting and the oil inside change how it reads.

Honest fit

Is it right for you?

We would rather you bought the correct thing than this thing.

Buy it if

  • You keep more than one oil, or an oil and a vinegar
  • You want a finishing oil that never gets used for frying
  • You cook with an air fryer and an oven and want a bottle at each
  • You are buying as a gift and want something used daily
  • You want a spare bottle rather than washing between liquids

Look elsewhere if

  • You only ever use one oil — the single bottle is the cheaper answer
  • You need bottles larger than 500ml each
  • You want to spray solids-laden infused oils
  • Counter space is tight enough that two bottles will not stay out

Questions

Frequently asked

What is the difference between the 2-pack and the single bottle?
Nothing mechanical. Both are 470ml, both spray and pour with the same press top. The pack adds a second bottle in green so you can keep cooking oil separate from a finishing oil or vinegar.
How does the sprayer work?
Pressing the top drives a piston pump that draws oil up a dip tube and forces it through a narrow orifice. The pressure drop breaks the stream into a fine mist. Tilting instead uses a separate pour spout that bypasses the pump entirely.
Can one bottle hold vinegar without tainting the oil?
Yes, provided each bottle stays dedicated to one liquid. If you do swap, wash with hot soapy water, flush the pump and dry completely first.
Do I need to prime both bottles?
Yes — three to five presses each, upright over the sink, on first use and after any deep clean.
Are the two bottles the same size?
Identical: 470ml / 16oz each. Only the colour of the hardware differs.
Do they fit in a standard cupboard?
At 7" tall they clear most shelves and stand upright in a cabinet door rack.
How do I clean them?
Half-fill with warm soapy water, refit the head and pump fifteen to twenty times until it runs clear, then repeat with plain water and dry upside down. Monthly is enough for filtered oil.
Can I put them in the dishwasher?
Bodies and caps tolerate a gentle cycle; hand-wash the pump heads to protect the seals.
Is this a good gift?
It is one of the better inexpensive kitchen gifts precisely because it gets used daily rather than stored. Both bottles arrive boxed with caps fitted.
Can I spray avocado oil for cooking?
Yes — avocado oil is thin and neutral and sprays very well. So do vegetable, canola, sunflower, grapeseed and sesame.
